Opening of Juja Land Access Road

We praise God that finally the road and bridge that we were building to provide access to our land in Juja was completed. In a ceremony, presided over by Bishop Calisto Odede on Friday, 26th April 2024, the road, named CITAM Boulevard was officially opened. The event was attended by Deacon Board Members, Council of Elders, Rev. Justus Mugambi (Deputy Bishop), Rev Ken Isige (DFA), Board members of Ark Properties, some Senior Pastors, and Head office managers. The new road is expected to unlock the sale of the plots in the land.

Kapsabet Half-Marathon

CITAM Kapsabet hosted half marathon ever held with a church in History of Athletics in Kenya. At More than 1000 athletes participated with winners being awarded Kshs 250,000. It was on a Sunday like no other, and the first time in the history of the assembly we held a service out of traditional premises. And also for the first time in the History we had a congregation above 2000 meeting at the Kipchoge Keino Complex for a Sunday Service. 107 persons gave their lives to Christ. To grace the occasion His Excellency, Hon. Stephen Sang ( Nandi County Governor), Dr David Oginde (EACC chairperson), Rev Robin Mulunda (Western Region Overseer), Rev Makena Athony (Head of SAA) among other leaders.

Northern Region AGM held

We had a successful Northern Region AGM  (RAGM) on 13th April 2024 at CITAM Valley Road. Key issues regarding the region were discussed by the members and resolutions made. We praise God for the key milestones achieved and the renewed energy to conquer new territories.   This was the 5th RAGM since the regional meetings were started in 2020. This AGM marked the end of RAGMs in 2024 to pave way for the 2024 Annual Delegates Conference ( ADC) which will be held on 27th April 2024 at CITAM Valley Road’s Dennis White Hall.

Southern Region AGM held

We had a successful Southern Region AGM  (RAGM) on 6th April 2024 at CITAM Ngong. It was the first time the AGM was held in CITAM Ngong because previously it was held at CITAM Karen. Prof. Dionysious Kiambi Installed as New VC

It was a momentous occasion on Friday, 23rd February 2024 when Prof. Dionysious Kihika Kiambi was installed as the 4th Chancellor of PAC University. The event, which was led by Bishop Calisto Odede, the Chancellor of the university was graced by the Chief Guest, Rev. Dr. David Oginde, former Presiding Bishop of CITAM, former Chancellor of PAC University and the current Chairman of Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC). There was celebration when Prof. Dionysious Kiambi was handed over the instruments of power from the Chancellor, Bishop Calisto Odede The instruments of power which include the Charter, the Logo, the Seal, The Mace, the Medallion and the Gown are key in symbolically expressing the values, philosophy, identity and governing authority of PAC University. PAC University, which is owned by CITAM, is a chartered private Christian university offering PhDs, Masters, Bachelors, Diplomas, and Certificate Courses in Thika Road and Valley Road Campuses. The university offers over 35 courses approved by the Commission for University Education (CUE) through various modes of learning including in-person and online learning. We congratulate Prof. Dionysious Kiambi as he takes the university to the next level.
