At CITAM, the youth are not an afterthought they are at the center of the church’s vision for the future. Recognizing the unique challenges and opportunities that come with this generation, the Youth and Teens Ministry is investing in meaningful discipleship, creative engagement, and authentic relationships that help young people build lasting faith foundations.

Weekly youth services across various branches combine vibrant worship, relatable sermons, and small group discussions that create a space for openness and growth. Topics like identity, purpose, peer pressure, and faith in the digital age are tackled head-on, offering a Biblical worldview without avoiding the realities young people face. Through this, youth are not only being discipled they are being empowered to disciple others.

The ministry’s flagship events, such as the “IGNITE” youth camp, attract hundreds of teenagers and young adults from across the country. These camps are more than just a time away; they are spiritually formative experiences filled with worship, learning, outdoor activities, and moments of deep reflection. Many participants return home with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to God.

In addition to regular programs, mentorship plays a significant role. Youth are connected with trusted adults and older peers who walk with them through life’s complexities. This relational model of discipleship ensures that no one walks alone and that spiritual growth is not confined to Sundays. It also helps youth feel heard, valued, and supported critical elements in this phase of life.

The church also actively encourages youth to serve in music, media, ushering, outreach, and even tech turning passive participation into active ownership of their faith and gifts. These responsibilities instill leadership, discipline, and accountability, shaping future spiritual and civic leaders.

Through CITAM’s investment in its youth, the church is building a generation that is bold in faith, grounded in truth, and unafraid to take Christ into their schools, workplaces, and nations. It is a ministry not just preserving faith but launching it into the future with confidence.
